Rezumat

The digital society is a current topic in the European Union as a result of the Commission's projections on the use of technologies by citizens. The study considers the most important areas where new regulations or changes have emerged: data governance at European level, open data and re-use of public sector information and personal data protection. The guarantees specific to the new regulations, legal guarantees for the protection of citizens in the European Union's digital society strategy are analyzed in particular.
